We're seeing intermittent issues when creating orders via the admin.
When we move from the items page to the address page, suddenly we're looking at a completely different shopper than what we picked when we started the order.
Usual flow has been: Create customer in People/Users Edit new user Click to basket tab Click Create Order button Search for item Add item to basket Hit next to see address page
It's at that point, now the user is not the user we just created.
We can't pin down what the relationship is. Could be a previous user we just edited. Could be the user from an order we just viewed. We're not sure yet.
Anyone else reporting similar?

I did a test but wasn't able to reproduce the issue. Maybe there are other steps included when you encountered the issue.

I agree with you. There has to be another step somewhere we do not realize is causing the problem. We'll keep researching it.

Hey Joe,
I was just going to offer a suggestion. From the main Order Manager page, there is a "Create Order" button. This allows you to bypass the steps to create a new user. The first part allows you to search for an existing user, or you click Next to create the account during the admin checkout process. It should be a little easier to do this instead of creating the user record. During the checkout, there is an option to set a password as well.
I searched through the 9.0.4 - 9.0.5 change logs last night and found a few admin order issues that were fixed, but nothing related to this particular issue.
