It seems that the database doesn't have expected column. Can you please confirm that you went through entire process of upgrading from ac7? If yes then was there any errors reported during upgrade? Edited by user Saturday, April 10, 2021 3:55:34 PM(UTC)

Apparently I am missing a step. How exactly do I go about upgrading the Gold R8 database?

I figured it out! No need for any further action. The problem I was having is that I was manually entering information to point to the database in the database.config file instead of leaving it blank. Everything is good now! I've got the database upgraded and am now commencing on the re-skinning! Thanks so much!
