Recently i've had to make many of our in-house made products non shippable because we need the customer to send in a usable core to make the new part with. I added an option in each product for the customer to agree to send in a core, but it allowed them to checkout with the part price minus a core charge. We do not have access to cores for several of the items we offer now because of supply. So I changed the shipping option to non-shippable, so that the customer will call us to conplete the order. I would like to add a standard note to the shipping estimate and shipping pages to alert the customer to call us to complete the order. How and where do I do this?

Yes, this should be easy enough to do using HTML Snippets. You can add the information to any page using this feature. https://help.ablecommerc...site%2FHTML_Snippets.htmThe instructions that I linked about show you how to add create and add the snippet. I suggest creating it from the admin side, and then go the shipping page - edit and drag and drop the snippet into position. Please let me know if you have any questions. |
