Where did this plugin come from?
It's tagged as Web Services v24.0

But I can't find any documentation for it.

My fedex rep says its not connecting to thier server to get rates.

Been trying to figure this out and its the last issue before I set the site live.

Where did you get the code for the plugin? There was one for AC Gold and a different one for AC9. You need to obtain the AC9 one directly from AC.

There is a "Debug Mode" checkbox on the configuration page (Configure > Shipping > Carriers, click Edit button next to FedEx) that will write to a file in the server's logs folder. You might want to try that and see what shows up in the log file when you test a checkout. Also make sure you've added the shipping methods you want to be available via the bottom section of the same configuration page.

See, thats the problem.
I have everything set correctly but when I test it in the Shipping Methods box there is this: There are no shipping methods available for the specified shipping address.

For some reason the plugin isn't selecting the fedex marker set up in each product for shipping method.

Guess i'm just going to have to delete the fedex plugin and use UPS only.

This is the last thing I needed fixed before going live.
Can't wait any longer.

I wonder if it has something to do with Zones or Regions or Ship Groups. I just have the test store set up, and I don't think I changed any of that stuff, and the FedEx plug-in seems to work OK.

The issue is that I have only one vendor that uses fedex.
Everything else ships UPS.
So I have to create a ship group to show only fedex.

That's probably it then. The ship groups configuration page says "For products using multiple ship groups, only the common shipping methods will be available, so make sure to provide overlapping shipping methods where possible."

Not sure how to configure things for your scenario. I haven't done anything with ship groups on our live site (AbleCommerce Gold) or the v9 test site. Hopefully someone else can help.

EDIT: perhaps User Groups would work? The shipping method config page allows selection of user groups.

I looked at that and it doesn't apply to shipping.

Can't believe its this difficult.

I don't think this is the issue with the ship group configurations. Please post the debug info returned from the gateway as suggested by Jay. The info should be in the FedEx.Log file located under Website/App_Data/Logs folder. Thanks!

If you look at the log file, the Receive response is the information coming back from Fedex. I've highlighted the line below that has the message indicating an issue with your account numbers.

I decided to start from the beginning and create a new account with fedex.
I got half way through and then their servers failed and I wasn't able to complete the full activation.

Hopefully tonight I can make some progress.
I will post when I have more info.

BTW, there is only one place to put in an account number.So I don't see how there could be a match issue.
