I slightly modified a widget board and now it's broken.

I created a backup of the widget board "Store Header Compact", then I set to modifying the original (as it appears on every page) by changing some things in the HTML. Before making those changes, I had tested them on yet another backup widget board to make sure I knew what I was doing.
Anyways, when I made the changes, the widget board broke. I restored the original HTML thinking that would fix it, but instead it broke further. You can no longer add anything in the "Content" section of the widget board, half the time the Save button is hidden, it's a mess. I went into the original .cshtml file and made sure it was identical to the backup and it is. Anyone know how to help?
P.S. There are a LOT of bugs in this software...

Hi Boyd, I am sure you have gone through the related documentation for editing widget boards. If not, please visit http://help.ablecommerce...sign%2FWidget_Boards.htmThe CMS features are highly dependent on the database. Most of the changes we do in CMS are stored in a database. Taking a backup of the .cshtml file will not be enough in most cases. It would be easy to help if you can share the changes you wanted to achieve. Or you can share the steps to reproduce the bug. In the Content tab, The save button will only appear if you have enabled the editing mode. (button on the top left)
