The Asset Manager worked better in Able Gold. When you clicked it, a new tab opened where you picked the file you wanted. Then upon selection, the calling tab's field was populated with the url of the selected image.

In v9.x, it's much more cumbersome.

For example, the Advanced Settings always has at least three image url input boxes. Sometimes more if additional images are specified.

The problem is the user has to click the Save button after each image is selected. That's because your asset manager is re-loading the calling view, which automatically wipes out changes to any other input boxes in the view. So the user can't pick one image, then pick another image. Because picking the 2nd image wipes out the updated image url for the first one.

In Gold, you used some sort of js magic to just fill in the input box on the edit page. No page refresh was ever necessary. This is sorely missed for sites who do a lot of image management.
