Default installation throws HTTP 404 when hitting <sitename>/default.aspx
Sites that upgrade from v7.x or Gold will take a massive organic SEO hit without a redirect on /Default.aspx to /Default

I found a solution for web.config but I'd prefer to handle it with MVC routing if possible.

Simply adding a fixed redirect in the admin SEO section can also resolve the issue. |

I couldn't get fixed redirects to take the entry. Maybe it was because I was adding a path i.e. '/Default.aspx' instead of 'default.aspx'?
Technically there are multiple references to default.aspx in Able Gold. I didn't want to necessarily force every old ref to default.aspx back to the home page.
