We have a site that has special characters in names and other places that aren't displaying correctly on the AC 9 site. Could you tell me how I can change the code so that they will display correctly? I've uploaded two images- one of Gold site, one of AC 9 site. The name in the admin doesn't display correctly either. 2021-08-26_8-00-12.png (108kb) downloaded 5 time(s). 2021-08-26_8-01-43.png (71kb) downloaded 3 time(s).

Hello Judy, I have no problem displaying this on a 9.0.4 site that's actually hosted by your company. Please see the picture enclosed. Just copy the bottom text and pasted into a empty content page in Ablecommerce and hit preview. If it still not displaying, properly, I wonder if it could be a CSS issue or something with UTF-8. Please notice the extra spacing that I had to put into the name. Let me know, I'm very curious about this. If you wish to reach out to me personally, Dan can give you my email. I hope this helps, -Ray --- <p> Niháâádaahwiinítâíigo </p> <p><span style="font-size: 32px">Niháâádaahwiinítâíigo</span> </p> --- WhenWeAreKind.png (112kb) downloaded 5 time(s).

I suspect that part/all of the issue on the site is that the data came from either an upgrade or a Gold export/import into the AC9 site.

I went through and wrapped them in @Html.Raw() to fix. I think AC should do this.

It seems that a majority of the issues you guys have are conversions from gold. I'm happy that my site was a fresh built from version 9. Not sure why you even needed to used @Html.Raw if the Unicode is set correctly, unless something weird going on in the view.
I use to encounter this issue many years when I used FrontPage, I had to copy and paste into notepad to fix the issue. Nowadays I just deal directly with the HTML code and trying not to use a visual designer.
Happy it's working now for you.
Just getting up, need coffee, -Ray
