I am not able to upload a picture, please check your settings on the forum as this has occurred before. The error messages you get when trying to change your passwords are not properly being displayed. They are off screen and are displaying technical information as opposed to information that a user find useful to correct the problem. this is on version 9.0.4

Please mention from where are you trying to change the password.

Admin side or retail side?

If possible, can you please share the error text. Meanwhile, we are looking into image upload issues on forums.

Thanks.

I am on my way to the office, however it is better to fix the problem with uploading pictures as this would illustrate the problem much better.

Thank you

Please follow the steps to import the updated language resource strings.

1- Go to admin - Configure - store - languages
2- Click edit resources for the desired language
3- From the right top click import and select the langresource csv file under website/areas/install/content folder.

Hopefully, this will resolve the issue.

I have follow your suggestion to disastrous effects, please look at the enclosed picture. The import function should only import values that do not exist in the database. Instead it creates duplicate values. Again look at the enclosed picture.

Under the "retail.accountlogin.username_required" value which refers to a username, you now import a second value "retail.accountlogin.username_required2", that has nothing to do with an email, again this is something that needs to be fixed.

So which is it, an email or a username?

I now need to go into the database table and remove the import, I think my suggestion of doing a query first that verifies what's not there is a value is the better choice.

I know you guys are busy, but this is extremely important to us.

Based on the picture above, which value is correct?

The values that came with version 9.0.1 or the cvs file?

I personally think your cvs files out of whack, can you please provide up-to-date information on this.

As you can see there seems to be some confusion here, please help me rectify this.

Thank you

The ones you are referring to in (image) are all valid resource strings.
The confusion arises because of the similar key values with a slight difference.

Quote:
retail.accountlogin.username_required, Username is required

this is for Password Exipred panel UI

Quote:
retail.accountlogin.username_required2, Email address should be in the format of name@domain.tld.

This is for Register Dailog UI
