When creating an order in the backend, and I select an item with an option, the add to order button is missing until I click a drop down, pick an option, and reset the option again, please see the video.

There seems to be a tremendous amount of bugs in the backend, I did the same thing with the last version just to make sure this was not something new that was added. All this stuff existed in the previous version as well.

Again many thanks.

Hi Ray,

I am able to confirm what you are referring to. This is how this was working in Gold as well. The code logic only allows the button to render when all required options are selected.
Having said this, I am going to open a discussion about this issue.

Thanks for your support!

Hi Shari,

Just to let you know that all default values were selected. if you look at the video closely you'll see that I'm only changing a value to something else and then changing it back. So the end result is that no values were changed. Either way, I think we are gonna be moving away from options, and moving towards kitting. Kitting has a lot more options, plus it's more global in nature.

Thank you

What I can see in the video and my local test when on a pop-up, the options drop-down has an empty list item. So when an empty option is selected we are not seeing the button but on selecting other than an empty list item, the button appears.

Can you please confirm once again?
Thanks

If you look at the video more closely you will see that the default value has already been selected, I changed the default to something else and then I change it back. So the end result is, that the system is going to accept the same values that were originally there in the first place.

Also if you look at the screenshot, in the admin there is no blank space, so Ablecommerce seems to be adding a blank value when none was added in the backend.

I hope this helps

OK, I am sorry, you are right.
I am going to investigate this further.

Again thanks for the explanation.
