Customers are receiving the following message on first attempt to enter billing address information outside of the United States: confirm-address.PNG (10kb) downloaded 1 time(s).Seems like this issue resolves on the second attempt which occurs when the customer clicks the Close button and just re-submits the info to continue through checkout. We are having to spend an increasing amount of time explaining this and the workaround to customers and would prefer to have the issue resolved so that it stops happening. Can you provide a fix, an explanation or some additional information? Thank you!

The issues seems related to AVS (Address Validation Service). Can you provide some details so that we can investigate the issue in detail.
Which payment gateway and shipment provider are you using?

We use Authorize.net . We ship via UPS, but the vast majority of our purchases are for software that is downloaded, and nothing ships.

So this issue is happening for only shippable products. Right?
Also please confirm that the AVS option is enabled in the UPS config form. Please also share which version of AC9 you are using.

The popup message is just informational, it indicates that the address can not be validated. If you want you can disable the Address validation from UPS configuration page. Thanks for the insight, we were able to get this issue resolved by disabling the AVS within the USPS Shipping Method that was set up, but not in use.
