When adding an admin user with a password that does not meet password requirements, there is no dialog or message to indicate such when clicking the Save And Close button. There's no way to know why the page won't save and close.

Hi Joe,

I have tried reproducing the issue but wasn't able to. Please see the screenshot and confirm if I am looking at the right place.

This test is from fresh install of 9.0.2.6218.

Thanks

Thanks for the video. Can you please do one more test and share the details presented in the network tab of the browser.

I am sharing a screenshot for reference.

Like this?

You're using FireFox and I'm using Chrome. I have no experience doing dev testing Firefox so I'm not sure this is what you want.

You are close. Just select the response tab from the left section.

Thanks for your help.

On the RIGHT section there is a response tab. That tab has nothing in it but 'Bad Request'

Sorry, it was the right side.

The bug is already reported. This needs some investigation. For some reason, it is not being reproduced locally but on live site.
I am assuming that you are getting the issue on a live site. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Apparently, our client-side script that displays the validation messages in case of an error is causing this issue.

Thanks for your patience in finding the details.

Yes it is live site. I can give you admin login if you want to see for yourself if that will help.

Thanks. It would help if you can provide an admin login.

Also, if you can test this scenario in your local install. Just to be sure that we are having this issue only on live site.

Sent you a PM with details. Once you're in, have a look at the error log too. I'm gonna post those errors to the forum anyways so you might as well have a first-hand look at them :)

My local dev install does not have this issue. Validation works exactly like it should on my local install.
