We have a client who has no shipping methods set up for Guam and they do have orders (at least on 11/24/23) where an order was shipped to Guam before the upgrade to AC 9. I don't think the upgrade has anything to do with it, though. What is the magic combination for USPS rates to show up for Guam?
Guam is showing as a Province of the US in the State dropdowns.
In the admin, Guam is set up as a state under US Admin/Regions/States?code=US
When trying to set up a Region of Guam or add it under Contiguous US, it doesn't show up in the Include Selected States dropdown

How can they configure USPS to ship to Guam?

Hi Judy,

Guam is a territory of the US. Can you provide the address in Guam? I'm wondering if it's a military base, in which case, you would need to make sure that all 6 variations of the USPS methods are selected.

MPOs include Army Post Offices (APOs), Fleet Post Offices (FPOs), and Diplomatic Post Offices (DPOs)

Turning on the debug can often be helpful as well.

Address is 128 South Pago Court, Dededo, Guam 96929. I had debug on for a while and sometimes nothing was logged and one time it said Guam didn't have international rates, or something to that effect.

I found out the issue, but I don't know why the site has to be set this way. I got rates for Guam on my local development site for this client, which had been an upgrade of the Gold site. Their specific priority mail method was set to all zones. On the live site, that had been changed to zones Contiguous US, Alaska and Hawaii, IL, California. It did not include All Except:Canada, United States.
As I pointed out in my first post, there is no way to add Guam to United States like there had been in Gold.

To add Guam, or any other state/province:

1) From Configure > Regions > Country page, use the filter and select "U"

2) Click on the counter circle in State/Province column for United States.

3) In the upper-right corner, click the Add State/Province button.

4) Add Guam and the state code GU and save.

Let me know if this is the information you are looking for. If not, please clarify what isn't working in AC9.

Sorry Judy, but I'm just not following what the exact issue is. Can you be more specific please? Or is this solved now because of the way they had their shipping regions setup?

It was solved by setting the zones to all for the shipping method, which includes countries other than US and Canada and they don't want that. It seems that I should be able to add Guam to the provinces when I configure in the shipping method to ship to US, but it doesn't show in the box. See images of Gold site vs AC9 site.

Check the bottom of the list. Guam is there, but it must be sorted incorrectly.

Thanks, Katie. I know that is what I should see, but Guam just does not show up in that list on the problem site. Let's just drop it for now since we had a work-around.
