I am trying to find out if the software supports this scenario:

We are offering a buy one, get one 50% off special, but we want to allow our customers to pick another product of equal or lessor value.

I have figured out how to offer buy one get, one 50% off for the same exact products, but not for other products of equal or lessor value.

Any suggestions?

Sorry, by using our current coupons and discounts feature, this is not possible.
You can only offer for the same products.
