Tried adding a favicon .ico file to the websie.t
The file loads and shows in the store logo section but doesn't show on the actual address bar.

Unless something has changed recently, Favicons do not appear in the actual address bar, they appear in the browser tabs, search bar, toolbars and bookmarks.

Yes you are correct!
It shows in the tabs. I was thinking they were in the address bar.

Doesn't seem to show up in Microsoft Edge or Apple Safari.

Apparently there is additional code needed for mobile phones as well.

No special coding is needed if you do it right. You need to wait for the Internet to propagate properly for you to see it displayed. I have no problems with mobile phones, I have no problems with Safari, I have no problem with Microsoft Edge, I have no problems using a Mac.

It works for me, it will work for you, just be patient with the Internet.

Using versions 9.04, 9.05
