Is AbleCommerce no longer providing a built-in tax provider? In other words, are Avalara and Washington State the only tax providers we can use?

Hello,

We have two built-in tax providers: Avalara and Washington state.

TaxCloud is no longer available in AbleCommerce v9.

So, we have to sign up for a live tax provider? There is no more AC Test Provider?

All the built-in tax features are still the same. From the menu, go to Configure > Taxes -

Settings: Enable custom taxes needs to be turned on
Tax Codes: Sample data includes one 'Taxable'
Tax Rules: Create a tax rule here and assign it to a tax code

Make sure products are assigned to the tax code.

I recall a recent issue while displaying the tax column. I don't know if it's fixed in the build you are using. In any case, we are planning on releasing another build within 1-2 weeks which will have it fixed.
