I am trying to get the ProductFinder left nav with shop by working correctly with the category page. It filters the results according to the shop by OK, but when I select a new option in the Sort By dropdown, the shop by is ignored. How do I get the shop by back into the querystring? I see that it does it OK on the Search page, but I can't figure out where the code is that does it.
Thanks

Hi Judy,

You need to update the code to achieve this requirement.

If you are using the widget "Category Product Grid Multilevel"

1- Add the following line of code in the CategoryGridPage controller action.
Code:
ViewBag.ShopBy = shopBy;

2- Open the file \Website\Views\Category\_CategoryGridPage.cshtml and add the following line of code inside the form block
Code:
@Html.Hidden("ShopBy", (string)ViewBag.ShopBy)

3- Compile the code

You can also take help from search widget controller side code and view file.

Hope this helps!
