FYI, I did a very, very brief test using the test configurations listed under the "What can you do to help?" section of this blog post, and AbleCommerce GOLD SR12R2 and AbleCommerce 9 both seem to work fine (which I guess means IIS handles these user agent strings correctly). My test was load the Admin page, switch to the storefront, and create an order using the Windows versions of Chrome and Firefox.
