We are setting up the subscription plan and our pricing is based on different variants. The initial price is populated correctly but the recurring charge price is not being populated accurately. How can I get this setup?

I can confirm that the price displayed in the informational text is incorrect and this persists from the product page throughout checkout. On the receipt page, it is shown correctly. The price in the basket is also correct.

I'm going to report the issue and see about getting you the code to fix it.

Thanks for letting us know.

How can I remove a subscription? Since this isn't working and a confirmed bug, I can't remove the option and I really didn't want to recreate the product again? There's no option to remove/delete?

Hi,

This bug has been reported and fixed and currently is in the testing phase. This will be updated in our SR1 release.

To remove a subscription from a product first you need to cancel the subscription plan.

- Please visit this page. Manage => Subscription
- Cancel the subscription plan associated with your product.
- Then edit the product and click the product subscription tab or visit this page www.site.com/Admin/Produ...scriptions?ProductId=ID.
- There is a red color button 'Remove' at the bottom left of the page.

Please let me know if you have any other question.

Thanks

So I'm trying to set up subscriptions again and while I can get the initial charge to populate, I'm not able to populate the recurring price based on the selected variant option.

We have the following set up for variants:
UserPostedImage

in the end, there are 64 options the customer can choose from:

I can populate the base price by using the override, but it won't populate the recurring charge price:

Any suggestions?

You may want to check your site, my system has blocked you due to a Trojan. You may want to verify that your site is clean. Not sure if it's a false alarm, but better safe than sorry. Trojan.jpg (1,598kb) downloaded 1 time(s).

Where are you getting this error? The site is clean and after confirming with several scanning tools, the website is not flagged with anything malicious found.

We downloaded malwarebytes, they are the only one reporting a false positive, so we are filing an incident with them as there's nothing malicious with our site. Thanks for letting us know.

I see you got the problem fixed, I know that Google was complaining about something with your SSL certificate. I see that you pretty much have stayed with the default template that came with Ablecommerce.

I also decided to pursue this route because I wanted to stay as close to the standard coding as possible, I did however substitute the "browse store" menu with a manual one, this way I have better control on how the menu looks.

Nice site,
-Ray

Hi,

Sorry for the delayed response. I have tried to reproduce the issue locally but wasn't able to. I might need some more information about the issue you are getting.

Firstly, can you please confirm that is this the same issue you have encountered six months ago?

Also can you please mention what are you expecting in the case of a variant being selected on the product page. Is it only the display issue on admin side as you shared the screenshots or is there something unexpected on the retail side as well?

Were you able to see this kind of message on the product page

First payment of $12.95, followed by a payment of $4.00 charged 1 day until cancelled.

Hi Shari,
No, the first issue was no price populated, now it's the recurring subscription price that won't populate as you can see in the screenshot:

It's strange but for me, there is no display issue.
Can you please try to enter the recurring charge in the admin settings once again and save the form.

It seems that the value in the database is set to 0.

I can't make it a set value because the customer needs to be able to make their initial selection and then it needs to charge that amount each year. There are 64 options the customer can choose from to populate the initial and recurring price.

This is the page I'm working on https://www.idautomation...ption-Service-DO-NOT-USE

Do you want the recurring price to be the same as initial price based on the variant selection? I am assuming (from your last comment) that you don't want the recurring price for all variant products to be the same.

Yes, you are correct... the recurring price will be the same as the initial selection and each option is different.

Hi,

To use the same variant price as recurring charge you need to select Recurring Charge option as Use Product Base Price.

In your previously shared screenshot, I can see that you are using the Override Product Base Price option and giving the recurring charge field value as 0.

Please change this option to Use Product Base Price instead of Override Product Base Price

See attached screenshot Capture.JPG (74kb) downloaded 0 time(s).

Thank you, I see the price populated when making a purchase and the same for the recurring amount.
