How do you add a link to an image in V9?
Thanks

Hi,

Where are you trying to accomplish this task? If it's in the CMS editor look for the link icon on the WYSIWYG editor toolbar. Be sure to click on your image before clicking the link icon.
Thank you for your support!

Hi
In the WYSIWYG
Mike, I chose the image by putting the cursor next to the image and Shift right to highlight the image. When I then click the linked button it either deletes the image altogether or deletes the image and replaces it with text.
If simply click on the image and then click on the link icon button, it adds the text above or near the image.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi,

I'm going to see if we can make this easier. I see what you are saying. It's forcing the link to be a text hyperlink even if the image is selected in advance.

Go into <> html mode

Then add the following around the image

<a href="/myurl"> <img src here> </a>
Thank you for your support!
