I suggest changing the Delete All from error log to a sql truncate table. When we try to clean out error log on some sites, it bogs down the site and we have to access the database to truncate the table. Bots can cause a lot of error messages and a lot of merchants don't check their error log to keep it cleaned out.

I was thinking a rolling period of history for the log would be satisfactory.

That period of time should be configurable.
