I am now starting to use Google Feed, and I noticed that the description information is not being filled in. Where exactly do I go to try to fix this?
Thanks

Hi Ray,
The Summary description is used to populate the Google Feed file.
Let me know if you have any trouble. I just confirmed it's working fine in 9.0.9.
There is one issue that is being fixed for 9.0.11. Specifically, the issue occurs if you have option choice names with a trailing whitespace. Those variants won't appear in the Google Feed in that case.

OK, that explains it; we'll insert some text that lets you know.
Thanks

I am reporting back to let you know that everything is working. However, the Google Feed should have its own text box. If I put something in summary, it's going to show in my grid, and I may not want to do that. If you think this is a good idea, let me know and I'll post it on future enhancements. Another alternative is to get the information from the meta description. I may have my developer switch it out, as this is a better place for the Google feed to get its info. I'm glad it's working for you now.
I agree that we need to provide some options for the Google Feed, so the description can either be pulled from the summary or the meta description.
I'll move this over to the Feature Request thread. |

The best solution is probably to create a description text box under the Google feed option under products. Let the other two text boxes serve their own purpose.
