We looked into updating the API, but Stripe deprecated their Charges API endpoint, and according to their new integration they are using PaymentIntent API in the newer version.

To update the SDK version, we will have to make significant code changes. Unfortunately, this will need to be delayed until after the upcoming release.

An issue is open, AC9-2098

Thanks. I did a quick look at what it would take to rebuild the gateway plugin and it didn't look like a simple recompile.

I found a way around it. Not ideal, but it's working so far.
