Hello Able Team.

We use the Subcategory grid on top of the Category Product Grid (not Customized). We are on version 9.0.9 latest. We use the 4-row layout in the Subcategory Grid.
This works fine on desktop but when using on a mobile device we end up with 2-categories per row which there should be only one Category per
row for best user experience.

I caught this several able versions back but payed no attention as it works for me the developer.

However, this is causing great pane for users (supposedly) and our best friend GOOGLE who is yelling at us and giving us a CLS score in the moderate yellow.
This issue is also causing over 400 products to not be index under those categories by GOOGLE as well.

We do not want to customize the inner template to achieve a one row layout for mobile device browsing when using the Subcategory Grid as this once again should be standard. If you cannot reproduce this please let me know and I will provide a link.

Thanks again for your feedback and help. Last, if you have a quick fix you could provide, this would also be helpful.

Thanks again
Ricky

Hi Ricky,

Yes, provide a link and I will test it on my mobile device. The responsive design should automatically adjust depending on the size of the screen.

Thanks for your support!

Katie, try this link https://www.boatingsolut....com/boat-steering-c2806 on your mobile device. You will see the Subcategory Grid first in 2-rows and then scroll down and the regular Category Grid has 1-row like the layout should be. In some cases you will see in the Subcategory layout where a pic may even cause a scroll bar which it should not do as well in the layout.

Thanks again for your help and feedback.

On my device, which is an Apple 14 Pro Max, the categories (two) fit nicely on the screen and looks great. The second section is displaying products which has more info with wider images, so it is showing 1 per row. This also looks great on my device, and fits as I would expect it to.

On a smaller device, I can see where having 2 categories in the same row would not look good. I know there is a fix for this, but I need to consult with our CSS master. I'll have to get back to you early next week.

Thanks for your support!
