I'm seeing this on an 9.0.7 site so I tested on a local, unchanged 9.0.8 site. I didn't actually send the email from the local site, but the contents of the template are the same.
The email that is sent from the low inventory report in the admin looks like this:

We did fix this in version 9.0.8. Logged as issue ID AC9-2083

Two issues were fixed:

  • The product name is not shown, instead we see $product.Name

  • The link(s) to the item are not working.


There is no change in the template file. The change was in the email controller.
