In the old store hosted by GoDaddy we used this STMP Server "relay-hosting.secureserver.net" and it worked, clients received email confirmations after their orders were completed. Since we've upgraded our store to the latest AC 9.0.7 we've also changed the hosting provider with myAsp.net, but the issue is clients don't receive any emails regarding their order. Same SMTP settings, Test Message works but somehow order emails aren't relayed.

Any idea??? Could be that the GoDaddy relay server won't relay emails if they're sent from different hosting provider?

Did you close your old hosting account when you moved to myasp.net hosting?

GoDaddy is going to require SMTP authentication to use their SMTP servers. If your GoDaddy account is now closed, so is your SMTP authentication.

This indeed could be the case, I would call GoDaddy and see if you need to make a change in your MX record to reflect your recent change to your domain being hosted on a new platform.

I would also get on support with myASP.net to make sure their firewall is not blocking any necessary reports.

When you go to submit a test e-mail, what exactly is the error message that comes up?

Thanks, Ray & Joe.

I finally solved it by creating MX, CNAME and TXT records on our DNS manager at GoDaddy and change the SMTP settings with myAsp.net's ones and "Enable Authorization" needed to be enabled.
