I'm uncertain if this was fixed in version 9.0.6, we're still on 9.0.5.

This is a simple bug to reproduce. Please follow the steps.

Log into the admin section
click on reports
click on customers
click on search history

You will notice that it defaults to the current month, and there is a report and export button on the top right. Go ahead and run any query, the export button disappears. Furthermore, under configuration > store > general, my popular search account is set to three, the system is still reporting anything that's a two or a one.

This should be easy to reproduce

Hi Ray,

I was able to confirm both issues in the 9.0.6 version, so I will get them reported.

If you refresh the Search History reports page, the button re-appears.

Yes, if you do refresh the button reappears, but the query does not. The only way to capture the results, is to copy and paste.

I was confused about the use of the Popular Search Count setting.

The Search History report will display each keyword that is searched on by the user, regardless of the count.

The Popular Search Count setting is used to determine when a particular keyword will be considered 'popular' enough to make it suggested when customers try to search. This feature uses the jQuery autocomplete function, which happens to be broken in version 9.

This will be fixed in the next release.

Thank you for letting me know, it seems like the next version, 9.0.7 will be a major update with many fixes.

Question: we are currently on version 9.0.5, very stable, do you recommend upgrading to version 9.0.6 or skip that version and go directly to 9.0.7?

It's not possible to skip upgrades. If you have a lot of customizations, then you might want to wait until we release 9.0.7 and then apply the upgrade to 9.0.6 and again to 9.0.7. It may be easier to take care of both upgrades and merge your customizations just once.

We hope to have the next version done by mid to late next month.

I won't be able to provide a change log until we start final QA. ;)

We do have the ability to skip upgrades, but you need to use the full build and not the upgrade build.
