At first our Contact Us form would only work under Chrome, now it working under Firefox, but not before, not working under Edge at all, any ideas?

Customers not able to enter any info, it like the form is in a READ-ONLY mode.

Hi Ray,

I just tried using Edge and it worked, although I checked the 'I am not a Robot' box and, upon submit, the form came back with a message indicating I needed to do it again. After checking the box (which I thought I did the first time), the form was submitted and seemed to work.

Strange issue. I can't think of any reason why it would seem to be 'read only'. Maybe test with your phone or some other PC?

I've had 2 customers call today to tell me it was not working, I could not get it to working under Firefox, until I clear the cache, purging Cloudflare now.

Still not working.

I can only enter test in the Message area. Name, Email and Phone are read-only in Edge.

Going to remote in my home computer to make sure it's not an IP problem. OK, working at home under edge.

Boy, I love these problems on a Friday just before I wanted to go to the art show.

Will play with this over the weekend after the art show.

OK just update edge from Version 98.0.1108.56 (Official build) (64-bit) to Version 98.0.1108.62 (Official build) (64-bit).

Still not working.

Here are the steps in Edge, Chrome & Firefox for it to fail.

Please see picture # 1.

If the window in Edge or Firefox causes the message text box to align at the bottom, the name, email and phone BECOME READ-ONLY, same thing in FireFox.

If all is well in Picture #2 , it all works if the message box is at the right.

Can someone else confirm this?

Changing the col-lg-6 to a 12 will fix this problem. Waiting for support to confirm. This should affect all users under 9.0.4, will test with 9.0.5 after the art show.

Hi Ray,

Yes, it's a bug in the latest version and you are correct that it only breaks when the page is narrowed so that the Message form drops down below the other fields.

Good work catching this! I'm sort of shocked no one else has found it.

Hi Katie,

This is an easy fix, on the _ContactUs.cshtml partial view, go to line # 80

Change it from " <div class="col-lg-6">
to
Change it to" <div class="col-md-6">

No need to compile:

"Good work catching this! I'm sort of shocked no one else has found it."

The following conditions must be in play in order to find problems like this

#1 You dead tired and it's Friday afternoon
#2 Your people tell you there's a problem two minutes before closing
#3 You want to get ready for the art show, since you missed the one last week, and you don't want to wait another year

When all these conditions come together, then you find the really strange problems.
