Our LanguageStrings table is out of whack, and has NOT been properly updated since version 9.0.1. We think that the best way to fix this is to clear out all the contents of the table, and reimport the contents of the "LangResources.csv" from version 9.0.4.

There was only one customization that was done to the translation field, and that can be easily fixed. We have tried this on our local server and all seems to work fine.

Is this something that is feasible?

Thanks,
-Ray

PS: is this something you would do every time there is a new version of Ablecommerce or would you just reimport the new version of "LangResources.csv" into the existing?

If there is no customization or you can handle it manually, it is safe to delete and import all lang resources from the LangResources.csv file.

Would you say it's a good practice to do so every time there's an upgrade? Otherwise, you will have multiple duplicate entries.

On every internal upgrade, we share the new or updated lang resources strings that you will need to add/import on the existing install.
Deleting and importing the complete lang resource file on every upgrade is not necessary.
