The more I work with the SEO regenerate-urls feature, the more nervous I get about it.

First, shouldn't it have an option to automatically create redirects for urls that are changed during the process? That Regenerate-All option seems like a death sentence to a website if you're not REALLY paying attention to what's going to happen. Any products or categories with a custom url will get that url blown away and reset to the factory default url.

Second, there's no record kept of the previous url if the url was custom and has now been replaced. You are literally looking at a full database restore if the user made the wrong choice.

And there's just one single 'Are you sure?' popup to stop the user from what could easily become a disastrous action from an SEO standpoint.
