Hi:

We got an upgrade file of "AbleCommerce-9.0.0-b5588-WAP.zip". But a tech from hosting company told me that there there was an issue for the upgrade. It was missing DB scripts and asked if I could get him a complimentary upgrade file from Able. Now, I received a copy of "AC9_upgrade_RC3_to_Final". However, the Readme.txt mentioned that the final copy is "b5588". I am a bit of confuse here. Which file should be installed first? Should we rollback to "AbleCommerce9-RC3-b5338-WAP", then apply the "RC3_to_Final" and then run the "B5588" or otherwise?

Any input is greatly appreciated!

Thanks
Marco

Hello Marco,

Are you upgrading from AbleCommerce 9 RC3? If so then the links I'd sent you were the files you need.

You might consider putting a Lib folder with the new dlls for the upgrade into the upgrade zip. Since we are going to have to compile 99.9% of the sites that we work on, we will need to have the new dlls in the lib folder of our old version solution as we upgrade. For example, upgrading a local development site from RC3 to 9 then trying to compile causes errors without the new 9 final dlls in the lib folder.
