If dealing with all the regions defined in these massive controller files annoys you as much as it does me, this little visual studio extension will change your life.

Ok perhaps a tad too dramatic, but you get the idea!

Using Ctrl + m + o in controller context will also collapse all regions along with all functions within the region.

Correct. But as you said, it also collapses all functions which require extra clicking to reach actual code.

This extension only collapses and expands regions. Functions remain expanded which makes it easier to find code. At least for me it does.
