At first I couldn't go into any product, because of the following error below. After restarting IIS and some patients, I can go into products but I'm getting a "Invalid column name 'CostOfGoodsModeId'", and my options are not being loaded. Obviously the database did not update properly.

Please provide manual instructions on how to update the database manually.

Manually added the the field to the ProductsVariants Table.

#1. is null checked or not

#2. Any foreign keys are constrained I need to be aware of?

I did add the field manually, but by your request I deleted the field and ran the script. All seems to be working.

I am sorry that you are getting these errors about database updates. This is unexpected for us and we would like to investigate the cause.

Can you please share the steps you have taken for the upgrade. Just to be sure.
Secondly, can you please confirm from your database if there is a new content webpage added i-e 'Cookie Policy'.
You can make sure by just visiting site.com/Cookie-Policy

I followed your upgrade to the letter. The database schema update did not execute properly when I entered admin area. The new table field had to be created manually, but I was not sure if the null checkbox needed to be checked. After you send me the SQL query, not sure if there was a foreign key involved, I deleted the manually created field and ran your query which re-created the field with the null check box checked.

The cookie policy is working properly. You will have to wait and see other people experience the same problem.

Was this upgrade supposed to create a webpage for cookie policy? I've run two upgrades and it didn't do that, in addition to the above.
I tried running it by copying it out of AbleCommerce_Upgrade_ACGold_AC9.sql and the stored procedure EnsureUrl wasn't there. Should I run the entire script file?

Yes, the upgrade does create the Cookie Policy page. There was a mistake where upgrade script was missing from the release as mentioned by Kaite in this thread

Please confirm that you have a folder called /App_Data/Upgrades/Upgrade_9.0.4 in the downloaded upgrade. If its missing then please download it again, extract and confirm that it contains this folder.

The required SQL file is in this folder called Upgrade-From-9.0.3-b6432.sql
