I see the error messages in the log and it happens frequently but I can't make any sense of the error. Can you provide any insight on what the problem may be? Can you call one of these users and asked them what password they were trying to set? If you can get a hold of that password, would be interesting to see what happens if you try to change the passwprd for them in the backend? Just curious if there some special character in the password that could be creating this problem, but it's difficult without further information.

This is some additional info that I have gathered from a user: "I have been trying to log in and place an order. I have filled my cart 3 times and then I'm prompted to sign in. At that point my cart is erased and I try to reset my password. The password rest link shows an error. This continues in a loop." So I'm wondering if something is going wrong with the merge cart. Any ideas?

Second and probably most important, a shopping cart content should not be erased or removed, if this ever happened to me, and my shopping cart was full, let's say 15 items and I had to start from scratch, I would go someplace else, this part is an extremely serious issue and support needs to reply immediately. Third, can you post a screenshot of your password requirements from the backend? Are any of these users part of a specific group? The only thing that I can recommend without having any further information, if you have Captcha enabled, I would disable them at this point, just as a starting point to rule out any third-party interference. Support really needs to reply to the shopping cart contents being erased, this is serious stuff and is a sure way to start losing customers. At the very least, they should offer some code modification to offer some better error messages to try to better pinpoint the problem, than a full-page of extremely nondescriptive messages. I hope you get this problem solved and I look forward to support getting involved with this. I hope some of this helps, -Ray

These details suggest that your ON DELETE constraint is set to NO ACTION whereas it should be set to SET NULL> I suspect that this is the reason for the exception you are having. I'll try to reproduce the issue by changing the constraint and confirm.

I showed the same results as Joy- DELETE_RULE is 1 I have a 9.0.3 dev site from a fresh install and the delete rule is 2 on it.

This database must have come from AC7 to AC9. For now, you can run the query on the database to update the foreign key constraint. PLEASE MAKE SURE TO TAKE DATABASE BACKUP BEFORE TRYING THIS QUERY Code: `ALTER TABLE ac_basketShipments DROP CONSTRAINT ac_Addresses_ac_BasketShipments_FK1 ALTER TABLE ac_BasketShipments ADD CONSTRAINT ac_Addresses_ac_BasketShipments_FK1 FOREIGN KEY ( AddressId) REFERENCES ac_Addresses ( AddressId) ON UPDATE NO ACTION ON DELETE SET NULL` I am also registering this issue to add to our upgrade script.
