Hello,

We are enjoying some of the new Admin Order Manager Page features such as "Jump to Order..." and color coded order status; very handy!

However some other operations are tedious, specifically when entering the Order Manager Page, the default search specification is for "Quick Date Pick = 30 Days". This shows a mix of incomplete & complete orders.

We would like to quickly display all "Unshipped Orders in the Past 30 Days" (or 90 days, etc.) We will click the "Advanced Search" & Select "Unshipped" search to get the desired results. This in itself is not a huge issue except that after executing that search and seeing the results, when you click to view any order and then "Go Back to Order Manager", the "Advanced Search" parameters are lost and you get the default "All orders in last 30 Days" again. Unfortunately we end up having to repeat our "Advanced Search - Unshipped" sequence numerous times per hour as we review orders that we are processing.

Wondering if we can optimize this with at least one of the following suggestions:

1. Show us how to edit the default search parameters for the Order Manager Page to show our preference every time we go to the page.

or

2. Show us how to add a new, custom button beside the default Search button that we can program specifically for our desired Manager Page appearance.

or

3. Have the "Back to Order Manager" function recall and apply the last used search parameters instead of resetting to the page default every time. This is how 7.0.3 had worked.

Thanks for some assistance to improve this.

-Jeff

Jeff on your third point, just hold down the control or shift key when clicking on the order should open a new tab, taking you to the order but still leaving the original query in place. This problem is all over the place not only with orders, but with products, and categories as well. It would be nice, but I seriously doubt that this will be fixed anytime soon.

Hope this helps,
-Ray

Thanks Ray....yes, when I remember, opening in a new page can help. Sadly to the detriment of suddenly having a dozen windows open (like working in Amazon's Seller Central, yikes!).

Hoping to see a bit more organic improvement on this and I've seen the same issue on the Product Pages, etc. but at least with the product page the last searched products start "bubbling" up to the top of the list to get back to them more quickly.

If we could be shown how to modify the search string on the Manage Order Page default, then everyone could tweak it to the way they like it. Get your desired results every time you open the page.
