Configure > Store > General

Access Restriction: Authorized Groups Only

Authorized Groups: selected from drop down

Admin Users could no longer access the site. ~/Admin/Log returns 404

~/Login displays header 2 times.

Is the admin group included in the list of authorized groups? There have been changes since gold in the handling of these features.

No, only the Groups listed under Users > User Groups are options in the drop down.

I see in Gold it behaves the same way only showing non-administrative groups for selection. But in Gold it allows admin users to still see the site. The way it's functioning now, of course, you need to add the group to administrative users. Not sure if this was intentional or if it's a bug?

I don't think that Admin Users should ever be locked out. The behavior in Gold makes sense to me. I would say that this is a bug.

Hi there,

I'm trying to understand what you are trying to do with the admin users and using the store membership feature.

Can you explain why this wouldn't work with normal non-admin groups? The reason I ask is that all admin groups should have some kind of access to the storefront unless it is disabled. This feature has more to do with membership which is a non-admin function.

If I have a better understanding of what you are trying to accomplish, it would help me figure out if this can be changed.
