Hello,

In the past version of AC we were using, I believe there was a new user welcome email template included with AC ("New Customer Welcome"), which was sent when a new user was created... but in AC9, I'm not only not seeing the email template. How are new users notified that an account has been created for them, when it's created through the merchant console? Thanks!

Hi there,

It sounds like you had a customization for this feature. I don't recall having a separate email template for new user registrations. It would be quite easy to send an email after creating a new account though. There is a direct link to send email from the same edit user screen.

Yes, I suppose that's possible, as I did inherit that particular client's AC code from another developer, though the template looked kind of like a native-AC template (it was more cleanly-designed and complete than was customary for the development team I inherited it from)... so that was why I assumed it must've come from AC (lol). Thanks for pointing out that "Send Email" button on the Edit User screen. That is definitely helpful, especially since it does allow the use of an email template, but it would be a lot more convenient if there was just an email template you could associate with a new user creation event, and then just check a box on that Add User screen to automatically fire that trigger/event, which would, in turn, send them the welcome email. That would save a lot of extra clicks/steps. Thank you for your response!
