When attempting to save the Canada Post Configuration with "Counter" mode toggled instead of "Commercial", the configuration is not saved. The configuration reverts back to "Commercial" after leaving the page and returning.

The "Configuration Saved" notification does not appear at the top right of page when clicking SAVE with "Counter" enabled.

This is Version: 9.0.2.6218.

Please see attached for setup details. The Carrier and corresponding shipping methods function properly with Commercial enabled.

Hi Jeff,

Were you able to see this message when you try to save the config page?

You can not set a Customer number with Quote type 'counter'.

Actually, to obtain counter type quote you must omit customer number. Try saving the form without giving value for customer number.

Customer Number: This is your Canada Post Customer Number. (numeric – up to 10 digits) This element is required to obtain discounted rates for commercial customers and Solutions for Small Business members. It must be omitted to obtain counter (i.e., consumer) rates.

Thanks Shari,

There is no error message or warning popping up...just the green colored "progress bars" in the middle of the screen that disappear.

But further to your instructions and reading the tooltips for the settings the functions work as intended. You must delete the Customer Number to allow the "Counter" mode to be saved.

It is working properly; only a bit non-intuitive if you already have your Customer data entered. ;)
