This appears as a bug on our installation, when modifying the messages for Inventory Tracking the changes are not saved.

Configure/Store/General/Inventory Control section: Inventory Messages

Enable Inventory Tracking.

Change one of the Inventory Messages, hit save.

Exit Config and return to find the old values return. Modifications did not get saved and pages where messages should appear are still the default messages.

Hi Jeff,

Can you please share the install version you are using. e.g 9.0.2.6218 ?

Were you able to see the green success message popup on the top right of the screen on saving the config form?

Are there any errors in error log related to config form page being saved?

Hi Shari,

We are using Version: 9.0.2.6218

There isn't a specific "Success" message popping up, but there is a green flickering progress bar that pops momentarily in the center of the screen. This is identical to if I change other features on this page such as "Enable Wishlists" toggle. This toggle gets saved and I can verify the results if I reload a product page on the storefront.

It appears that none of the Message related settings in the "Inventory Control" panel are being saved. I haven't tested messages in other parts of this configuration page.

Please try to save the inventory messages and then check application error log. See if there are any new entries related to inventory udpates.

Please check that on store settings page in Locale section what do you have selected for Non Postal Code Countries. Please make sure to select something for example Ireland which is the default. It seems that when nothing is selected a piece of code is having trouble.

Hi Mazhar,

That field is currently empty. The only options that are displayed to choose from are Canada & United States. Both of these would need a postal code.

I did just want to note that I've run into this as a result of trying to shorten the Inventory Messages in desparation of a method to make the Buy Product Options Grid useable. That is my largest concern at this moment because without it, none of this matters at this time.

I've gone ahead and arbitrarily added "Ireland" as a new Region/County. Then assigned it as No Postal Code Required.

Modifications to the Inventory Messages are now saving and display properly on product test pages.

Thanks for this fix.... Buy Product Options Grid ?? PLEASE!! :)
