What does the 'upgrade' icon mean next to a theme in the Admin Themes page? I can't find any mention of it in the documentation or change log.

Its basically signaling the change that I explained in another post about the use of Theme.config. The upgrade is suggesting that theme is missing the Theme.config file. In order to upgrade the theme add Theme.config and provide the display name, description and add the includes.

OK but that theme has a theme.config file. Does it need to be set an an embedded resource in properties or something? Or perhaps another reason it displays the icon?

Make sure that Theme.config has a valid format. You can use the Theme.config from the Sample theme and change its Display Name and Description.

No idea why but the upgrade icon disappeared about 10 minutes later. The theme.config file was there the whole time.

To be honest the icon is rather worthless without any description of WHY it is being displayed. The page needs to explain the reason.

And the description element in the theme.config file isn't even editable in the admin UI. That needs fixed too.
